Avoid foods that contain any of the following ingredients: high levels of sugar, high fructose corn syrup, enriched flour, partially hydrogenated oil (trans fat), and animal fat (saturated fat).  By becoming a label reader, you will be better informed and better able to ensure you are eating the healthiest foods possible to maintain a healthy lifestyle and live your best life!

Health Tip: Eating More Often = More Energy

An extremely important component in maintaining your fitness is how often you eat. The ideal diet includes eating smaller, healthier meals every two to fours hours, which equates to eating four to six times a day. Why eat so often? Eating smaller meals more often helps the body sustain energy throughout the day and helps to increase the body's metabolic rate, which increases the body's ability to burn fat and calories. Not only will you have more energy to enjoy life to the fullest and maintain your fitness, you will burn fat and calories at the same time! What could be better!?!
